Ingredients:

  • 1 medium ripe banana, frozen in chunks
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp almond butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the fruit by slicing the banana the night before and freezing in chunks to ensure a thick texture.
  2. Core and slice the apple, keeping the skin on to preserve fiber and nutrients.
  3. Add the liquid base (milk), Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and almond butter into a high-speed blender first to ensure smooth processing.
  4. Add the apple slices, frozen banana chunks, and cinnamon to the blender.
  5. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until the apple skins are fully pulverized and the mixture is bright and velvety.
  6. Use a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if needed and serve immediately to prevent oxidation.
