Ingredients:
- 2 shots (60ml) espresso or strong coffee
- 1 tbsp (15g) dark brown sugar
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
Instructions:
- Brew two shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong moka pot coffee directly into a 12oz heat-safe mug.
- While the coffee is hot, stir in the dark brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until the sugar crystals are fully dissolved.
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until it reaches 150°F (65°C); it should be hot to the touch but not boiling.
- Submerge a handheld milk frother at a slight angle just below the surface of the milk and froth until the volume has nearly doubled into a silky micro-foam.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk over the sweetened espresso base and serve immediately.
