Ingredients:
- 4 Tilapia Fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 large Egg, beaten
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
Instructions:
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Use paper towels to pat the tilapia fillets completely dry on both sides to ensure maximum crispiness.
- Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: Bowl 1 with flour; Bowl 2 with the beaten egg; Bowl 3 with Panko breadcrumbs mixed with 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp Onion powder, 1/2 tsp Kosher salt, and 1/4 tsp Black pepper.
- Dredge each fillet first in the flour, then dip into the egg wash, and finally press into the Panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with oil if desired. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes until the exterior is golden brown and fish flakes easily with a fork. Do not flip the fish unless your air fryer has a bottom heating element.
- While the fish cooks, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
- Drizzle the garlic butter over the hot fillets immediately before serving.
