Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and dried
  • 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the dry green beans with olive oil until fully coated. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper and toss again. Add the parmesan and breadcrumbs, tossing vigorously so the coating adheres to the beans.
  3. Spread the beans onto a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange them in a single layer with space between them to ensure they roast rather than steam.
  4. Roast for 10–12 minutes, shaking the pan gently at the 8-minute mark. Roast until the parmesan is golden brown and the beans are tender-crisp with slightly charred tips.
