Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) Cod fillets
- 1/2 tsp (3g) Kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Black pepper
- 3 tbsp (42g) Unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves (6g) Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (2g) Paprika
- 1 tbsp (4g) Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use paper towels to pat the cod fillets completely dry on all sides to ensure seasoning sticks and prevent steaming.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and paprika.
- Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Generously brush the garlic-butter mixture over the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque and the butter is bubbling and golden. The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley immediately.
