Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1.5 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a 16 oz glass jar, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds. Add the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  2. Stir thoroughly with a spoon or spatula, ensuring you reach the bottom corners so no dry pockets remain. The mixture should have a thick, soup-like consistency.
  3. Seal the jar with an airtight lid and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or ideally overnight (8–12 hours), to allow the oats to hydrate and the chia seeds to gel.
  4. Before serving, remove the lid and stir vigorously. If a thinner consistency is desired, stir in an additional tablespoon of milk before adding toppings.
