Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly using a spatula or your hands until the mixture is a uniform paste, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop the chicken mixture onto the center of the parchment paper.
  6. Using the back of a spatula or lightly oiled hands, spread the mixture into a circle or rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick, making the edges slightly thicker.
  7. Par-bake the crust to set the structure and evaporate excess moisture before adding toppings.
