Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly using a spatula or your hands until the mixture is a uniform paste, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop the chicken mixture onto the center of the parchment paper.
- Using the back of a spatula or lightly oiled hands, spread the mixture into a circle or rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick, making the edges slightly thicker.
- Par-bake the crust to set the structure and evaporate excess moisture before adding toppings.
