Ingredients:

  • 16.5 oz Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 9.1 oz Pillsbury Halloween sugar cookies
  • 1/4 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease your baking sheet evenly using the 1 tbsp unsalted butter.
  2. Divide the 16.5 oz Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough into 16 equal portions. Note: This ensures every cookie is the same thickness for even baking.
  3. Roll each portion into a smooth ball and place them at least 3 inches apart on the tray.
  4. Gently flatten each chocolate chip ball with the palm of your hand until it is about 1 cm thick.
  5. Place one disc from the 9.1 oz Pillsbury Halloween sugar cookies directly in the center of each flattened chocolate chip base.
  6. Press down firmly so the edges of the chocolate chip dough slightly hug the sugar cookie topper.
  7. Scatter the 1/4 cup Halloween themed sprinkles over the exposed chocolate chip edges, pressing them in lightly so they don't roll off.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the sugar cookie center is set and the chocolate chip edges are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them rest on the hot pan for 5 minutes until the centers firm up enough to lift.
