Ingredients:

  • 2 (6 oz) cod fillets
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Pat the cod fillets extremely dry using paper towels, pressing firmly on all sides to remove surface moisture.
  2. Rub the avocado oil evenly over the fillets.
  3. Combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl, then sprinkle generously over the fish, pressing the spices into the flesh.
  4. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 6 minutes.
  6. Gently flip the fillets using tongs and cook for an additional 3.5 to 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
