Ingredients:
- 2 (6 oz) cod fillets
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
- Pat the cod fillets extremely dry using paper towels, pressing firmly on all sides to remove surface moisture.
- Rub the avocado oil evenly over the fillets.
- Combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl, then sprinkle generously over the fish, pressing the spices into the flesh.
- Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 6 minutes.
- Gently flip the fillets using tongs and cook for an additional 3.5 to 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
